Submerged Arc Furnace composition:
It is composed of furnace shell, furnace cover, furnace lining, short network, water-cooling system, fume exhaust system, fume treatment plant, electrode shell, electrode pressure slipping and lifting system, charging and discharging system, holder, arc burner, tapping system, hydraulic system, transformer and other electric equipment.
Submerged arc furnace is a kind of industrial furnace which consumes much power. Full set equipment mainly consists of furnace shell, fume hoods, lining, short net, cooling system, exhaust system, de-dusting system, electrode shell, electrode lifting system, loading and unloading system, electrode holder, arc burner, hydraulic systems, submerged arc furnace transformer and various of electrical equipments.
The furnace body of the submerged arc furnace includes furnace bottom support, furnace shell, furnace lining, tapping system (including the furnace ladle and ladle car.), arc burner etc. There are other auxiliary systems for the refining furnace, such as fume hood, electrode holder (most of submerged arc furnace with three-phase power supply, electrode in triangle or inverted triangle, symmetrical position placed in the middle of furnace chamber, large submerged arc furnace generally adopt anthracite, coke and coal tar pitch mixed as electrode material, in the process of smelting, it roasting by itself as electrode), short net, copper tile, electrode shell, unloading system, turning down machine, fume exhaust system, water-cooling system, submerged arc furnace transformer, and the operating system.

For low-carbon ferrochrome furnace, due to high smelting temperature, flue gas temperature is up to 1200 ° C or so, which can cause great corrosion to the equipment, so low carbon chrome furnace lid and the internal surface shall be equipped with high-alumina refractory knot layer, to prevent overheating and oxidation of the equipment. And the submerged arc furnace is configured with a copper-steel composite conductive cross-arm electrode holder. The refining furnace body is tilted by 45°in one direction, 0° in horizontal position when smelting, and is tilted to 45°position when tapping.
