Electric Arc Furnace (EAF)
High-impedance electric arc furnace equipment is used for the smelting of ordinary steel, high-quality carbon steel and various alloy steel, and it is suitable for all scrap operations, scrap and wrought iron operations, scrap and pellets, preheated scrap, hot briquetted reduced iron (HBI), sponge iron and so on.
Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) features:
1)Furnace temperature can be controlled flexibly to meet different steel grades melting.
2) High thermal efficiency, furnace ingredients can be controlled.
3) Sulfur, phosphorus, oxygen and other impurities can be greatly removed to improve steel quality.
4) The chemical composition of steel can be easily controlled. Recovery of alloy is high and stable.
5)The main loop and the reactor are series connection, which can improve system impedance, achieve the second high voltage.
6)Power splitting: ordinary power, high power, ultrahigh power.
7)Steel tapping ways: steel groove tapping and the EBT tapping.
8)Tube-type water-cooling furnace cover and furnace wall.

Features of High Impedance EAF:
Reactor is connected in series in main circuit, and it’s improved the system impedance, achieved secondary high voltage, long-arc low current operating, high and arc power. Furnace adopts on-load voltage regulation in running. It has two operation modes, right operation and left operation. Furnace lid is spin-open type, top feeding, eccentric bottom tapping. The furnace is a frame-type water-cooled structure, the upper shell and the lower shell can be demolished, the lid is a concentric circular tube water-cooled structure, hydrocarbon gun on the furnace door and burner on furnace wall. Proportional valve controls the electrode lifting, lid rotation and furnace tilting. Adopt ull set of PLC and computer control system, computer screen monitoring system.
The whole electric arc furnace is composed of the following parts: furnace body, tilting device, electrode lifting device, lifting and rotating device, water cooling device and its alarm device, hydraulic station, air compressor system, feeding system, high voltage switch system, transformer, series reactor, low-voltage power supply and distribution systems, computer control system and computer screen monitoring system.
